What is the point of short term relationships? Are they fulfilling? If so, how?

Well, short term relationships are all about being there for a good time, not a long time. Meaning, for the little amount of time you're together, you just make it the most fun you can, with no worries about whatever follows later.
That or they're just failed long term ones.

They can really only be fulfilling physically. Unless they're unplanned. Guys looking for marriage might break it off pretty quick if they realize someones a bad fit.

You get to have fun without worrying about any of the bullshit that inevitably comes with dating.

Sexual pleasure. Being able to fill the space for a short time. Having someone to confide in for a small amount of time. Etc.

If you know you're going to be there for x months and dont like being alone. Yeah. Meet new people. Dating is a hobby for some. Networking is good.
