Should you leave a girl you like alone if she has a boyfriend?

Meaning, should I just stay as far away as possible from her? The biggest problem is that she's the one female that's ever showed me attention; the second biggest problem is that she's the flirty type, easily latches onto guys who make her laugh, which is pretty much everyone (which is how we became friends). So I get jealous of said guys when she shows them attention. Of course, she has a boyfriend who she's been with for a long time, anyway.

Putting two and two together, I realized this isn't very healthy. So I'm considering just not talking to her anymore.

Dude she will lift you up to let you fall. Messing with another guys girl can give him reason to mess you up, or you may also consider how would you feel if another guy messes your relationship up, not nice? So respect his relationship, don't let her games get your attention and mess you around. He will learn his mistake in his own time. It's not worth it. Move on, maybe there are better women out there than that. Or even staying single is better that a Jerry Springer session.

I knew a girl who had boyfriend and basically just let your be with her boyfriend. Didn't want to come between the girl and her boyfriend making her chose and being her friend. Just try meeting a girl who doesn't have a boyfriend and see how she responds to it. I get the whole attention thing girls love attention but she really seems like the type would start things with guys.

I personally don't think its right to go after her if she already has a boyfriend. Most likely your relationship with her won't last ( in case you go out with her) ..she may do he same thing to you since you said that she's the flirty type . You may end up getting hurt. Just find a different girl.

If being with her and making her laugh builds you up and makes you more confident to go out and find a girlfriend, then by all means make her laugh. If your self esteem is being ruined by her careless behavior, then get away from her.

be friendly with her. if she breaks up be there for her but give her time. then ask her out

I was faced with the same situation and I chose to leave her alone, I kindof regret it but I think it was for the best
