He's never shown any signs that he will cheat on me, but they will be drinking as well, so I'm unsure about this.
I want to tell him I don't want him doing that, but I don't want to be controlling.
What would you do?
Obviously you're uncomfortable about it, I would be too, and that would be all you should have to say for him to adjust his plans to either include you or find a compromise you can both live with.
If you don't at least mention your concerns to him, you might always wonder if anything did happen between them. On the other hand some people say if you trust him why not let him. I agree that you should be able to trust him in a room full of gorgeous women alone but do you trust the girl not to try anything (especially with alcohol involved) and I know I'd be pretty upset knowing she tried something (or thinking our relationship is weak enough that she could try something) even if he pushed her away.
(always trust your intuition)
first of all you have an honest boyfriend and I don't think he will cheat on you so don't worry
But if I were you ,I would ask my boyfriend to hangout with them ,and if he said no I would tell him okay and I will also tell him that I trust him and I just wanted to be with him but since he doesn't want me with him it's okay ,so he will feel guilty and neither cancel his plans nor take me with him
