For me, its confusing. I genuinely felt i had to be in love when i lost my virginity. But now that i rethink it, I think i was just scared and naive. I did love him but it definitely wasn't in love at that point. I feel i was more in love with my childhood crush who i still haven't gotten over. Some call it infatuation, but i doubt infatuation lasts for decades 🤣 For my second ex, I thought i was in love but i think I just loved him as well. He got on my nerves. I guess i was willing to settle to avoid having wasted the 2 years we were together. If i was in love with anyone else, it was likely this brazilian dude. I was willing to sacrifice so many of my wants to be with him. I was hella stupid and i do think i was in love but that shxt was toxic. Im leaving out 3 guys but thats because although we said “i love you” (in which one i apparently was in the moment and didn't even mean), i dont think i was actually in love with any of them.   yes that is true but see the idea that there is one person that is meant for you from birth is the part that you are probably haveing trouble with. through my conjecture i have come to the epiphany that people are not meant for us from birth but rather that people end up growing together and growing with each other. in all the one is more of an ideal that we, as men, should adopt not only to keep our spouses happy but in not adopting it we run into complications of different things like a venereal disease.

  yes i agree that you should not look for someone to make you happy, but it is through the celebration of lives achievements, seeing the result of your work, someone who will support you for what ever time period that y'all are together, and someone of who, typically, wants to see the best of you and will confer with you on things of which can be one better
