Signs that she wants to take the relationship farther?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 2 months now and are getting along great. We both love each other and really want it to be a long lasting relationship. Because of that, we have been taking things very slowly. She is a shy girl though, so I have a hard time reading her.

Couple nights ago I gave her a simple kiss and she remarked that I need to do it longer and use the tongue, which caught me off guard. She'll also sit on my lap sometimes, but that's as far as we've taken it.

I have a hard time reading females as to if they want a relationship to speed up or slow down. The hardest part is with a shy girl even if you ask her, she'll say it's going just fine.

I like claire111's answer over the Anonymous females. A wise man once said "It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission". Women really admire guys who aren't afraid to take the initiative and as long as you do it in the appropriate manner it will pay off tremendously in your relationship. Learn to communicate more with your bodies and not with just your voices. 90% of all communication is body language. Let your kisses linger a little longer... let your hands roam a little farther and feel how her body reacts. If she tenses to your touch ask her if it's all right continue. Women are very emotional creatures. What they think and feel one moment can be completely changed the next as long as you take her to the next level the right way. Set the right mood and atmosphere for whatever you hope to achieve and really drink in the situation so you can make the right move when the moment presents itself.

If you have known her for quiet some time (eg. you've met 6months ago and started dating after being friends for a while), then you should go for what you want to do SLOWLY! For example, if you wanna touch her breast, slowly bring your hand closer towards it. If she takes your hand and moves it away, then she is not ready yet. If she lets you do it and then gets angry at you, simply apologize and maybe even ask her to give you a sign when she is ready.

Do it slowly, subtly but yet somehow obvious and at the same time don't make it too obvious...a bit confusing but I hope you know what I mean! Work from my example.

This but also add communication. I absolutely adore and appreciate it when a guy asks if I'm comfortable before acting. It's a huge deal for building trust and the foundation of a relationship.

I'm a fairly shy girl, and I like to take relationships slowly with a guy. If I want to go further, I will usually just enjoy as far as we are already going to the fullest and try to show him that I like it. I prefer if he goes further first, and if he is going to fast I will gently push him away so we can pace ourselves.

Since she is shy, she will probably actually be relieved if you tell her you want to go further or just go further. Take it gradually, and unless she pushes you away she is probably good with it.

i think you should ask her straight up what she wants. if she's shy she's not really gonna tell you and to me it seems like what she told you about the kiss is a pretty good indication that she wants to go a little further but you should ask her, she'll b honest with you then.

Most girls who are shy kinda leave hints as to what they want unlike other girls who just tell guys...it really depends on the person

try to be more touchy and if she is accepting your touch you know then yes she is pretty ready to get it further...
