Let’s for arguments sake, you already knew they lived near by , their lease was running out, They were liking for a place near by and your complex is in an excellent location for them... Near work school transportation library park etc
So , there are obvious reasons they may want to move there that have nothing to do with you.

If you had a long standing crush you recently learned was moving into your APRT complex, would you feel as if they were “stalking” you?
If *I* had a crush on them, I wouldn't think anything about it. If I never expressed my interest in them, I probably had very good reasons for that, most likely the impression that they for sure, definitely weren't interested in me or that they were otherwise super unavailable to me- like a partner of a relative, colleague or an employer (because I would have expressed my interest in them in virtually any other scenario).
If *I* had a crush on them, and at the same time, I was sure that they knew about it, I might suspect that they maybe changed their mind or that I misjudged their interest, but I would find it a bit creepy.
Likewise, if *they* had a crush on me that I would know about, I would find it a bit creepy.
In either case, I wouldn't act on it. Moving close to someone who I'm acquainted with is weird, I would keep an eye out on how they will act. If they come to ring my doorbell and be like "hey, I just moved in here!" then yeah, I'm going to be creeped out, but perhaps they will just mind their own business and never interact with me.
I mean, it is not creepy in itself, it's just a bit lacking in the social awareness department, I guess?
If someone really tries to achieve something by moving in close to you, are they not thinking of the potential social consequences? What if they are not interested and you just end up making them uncomfortable by now living next door? It's easy to avoid people because you can always just go home and not socialize with them, but what if they are AT your home?
That lack of foresight would disturb me a little. If they are not thinking straight, then... well they are not thinking straight and may potentially commit to other "not thinking straight" behaviors.
I guess it depends, am I her crush or is she mine, that would make a big difference but because mine would be too easy let's say it's oddly convenient. I'd say more annoying than disturbing. But then again, it depends on how aggressive are we talking tully from Ghostbusters or swimfan (old thriller)
I'd say, I would like having a crush move closer to me, that I liked. That's win win. But someone crushing on me, either annoying or obsessed, id say it's either getting used to it or getting scared with a restraining order...
Well then, that changes things... I was thinking well that's a great way to try and win her over but if she already had someone then that would be torture...
No, I wouldn't feel like it was stalking. But it does seem kind of odd. Especially if I didn't like them in return, it would be uncomfortable to see them coming and going and would feel like it's necessary to make small talk. Not stalking, just odd.
Let's be honest I would be happy about it but with my high ego I won't tell him😂 If I would think he is stalking me that would make me a level 10 narcissist 🤷🏿♀️💁🏿♀️
I think if I had to answer this question 5 years ago I would have had a different answer. And two years ago a different answer as well from the one I have today.
I would be delighted, and gladly let her know how happy I am to have her around. In fact if she was a crush of mine I would do much more and always make sure I'm straightforward enough never for my intentions to be mistook as an offer of friendship. A lesson I learned the hard way.
I think it’s really good when people can put who aside. I think the feeling of being stalked is kind of tempting for some. To feel it I mean not to do it lol
Well if she was my crush as in I liked HER then her stalking me would be a dream come true all I have to do is let her in and boom we're together.
But a few years ago I would have got so lost in my own imagination that I would forget to actually make a reality happen. Now I know better then to live in my own head. I can't silence my never ending train of thought but I can make sure that I'm louder
If I had a crush on them. No not really. Why would I care. As long as they don't try to ruin your relationships or something if it doesn't work out or something and we could remain friends and they aren't the crazy type or something. I don't think many guys would be opposed to that.
i stopped having crushes around 21. if there is someone i'm interested in they will know. i would think it was pure coincidence if they don't know you or where you live, or whether you have a crush on them
I wouldn't think of them stalking me but I would wonder why they were moving there so it's hard to say but I believe things happen for a reason and sometimes we never know why it does happen?
Sorry for jumping in @VIVANT what makes you think they want to hurt you by your question it feels the person who is moving in has crush on lets assume as that helps in understanding. If he has a crush why would he harm you ofcourse if he is still single and sees that you'd single maybe he will approach you that's a possibility but unless his a serial killer he won't hurt you if a person needs a motive and without any background history why would he try so much?
it really depends on the type of person he is, if i know this guy say or do some questionable things then i would be a little freaked out but then again why would i crush over a guy who.. acording to me does questionable things
