My brother punched my boyfriend, advice?

So I've been dating this guy for 1 year, and when we what to be together we always go to his house, but this time my parents were out for the weekend, and my brother who is 18 (I'm 17) was with is friends. So I decided to tell my boyfriend to come over, well we started making out and one thing led to the other and we had sex. So my brother comes home early and catches us in the middle of the act. He yells at us, grabs my boyfriend, punches him in the face, then he told us to get dressed and he kicked out my boyfriend. Me and my brother had a huge argument, he said he's going to tell my parents and now he won't speak to me.. What do I do? I love my boyfriend and my brother, but I'm old enough to know what I do. Help please

Speak to him, tell him you love him and even though you're annoyed at what he's done you understand (in a bitter way) why he's done it

Explain that it could have quite as easily have been you walking in on him and a girl... would you have dragged the girl off your brother, slapped her, spat in her face?.. NO!

Tell your boyfriend that you can't apologize enough for what your brother did but it'll not happen again (if he's a lad with younger sisters he'll understand, lads (despite hating them in a sibling sense) love thier sisters, they need to be looked after, you're your dad's 'second pair of eyes' when you have a sister, they're precious, not to be made a fool of) because you've explained to him the scenario and he understands.

You've grown up together as children, you're growing as adults. Leave the childish ways behind and start respecting each others' needs and desires... you're adults?!?!?!

Tell your brother to end his involvement with your private affairs or you will loose all respect for him. If that doesn't work, he is unreasonable and perhaps dangerous. I would associate with such loutish company merely unwillingly, myself.

He may be your brother, and he may have done it out of love, but that wasn't any of his business. You obviously wanted to have sex. If you were screaming, "Help! Stop!" Then of course it would have been an appropriate situation for him to punch your boyfriend in the face. If I were in your situation I would talk to your brother and tell him that you love your boyfriend, and what you two do sexually is none of his business (tell him in a nice way so you don't accelerate the tension) And if he doesn't respect you, then he's really being a d***.

hahaha I'm sorry but I think what your brother did was actually very controlled compared to what some people would have done! Uhm if I was in your position first off, contact the boyfriend and make sure everything is alright, or I probably would have ran after him or something and then I'd beg by brother till death to not say a word to my parents and hope and pray he doesn't? Simple. If you are not old enough to figure out how to deal with this you shouldn't be having sex.

If he tells your parents explain that you figured that out (your punishment will be likely be lesser).

If he doesn't tell them. You should still have learned something from the experience.

one, your brother had the right in my opinion. he's your older brother and he's supposed to be looking out for you. I may not have punched him in the mouth but I would have kicked him out for sure.

I donno, this is tough. But in your brothers defense, he was looking out for his little sister. What would you think if you caught him in the act? It would be a bit awkward, right? So I think maybe you should try to talk to him. Sure he may be upset, it's natural, but talking and the communication part is important. You don't want him to be mad at you and if you don't want your parents to know, maybe that would be another reason to talk to him. Apologize that he walked in on you or somethin.
