I just found out my crush has a girlfriend and I was planning to confess to him. I'm not exactly sure how to talk to him now without breaking down in tears but yeah. I sorta gave myself false hope. I still don't know if I should tell him, I mean it won't change anything so there's no point. It also could harm our friendship and make their relationship. I wanna be happy for him but I just don't know if I can handle any of this or even talking to him.

But I think in this situation you should just keep that information to yourself. Him and his new girlfriend may not work out. It's just best that you remain friends at this point without jeopardizing it by making it awkward. Since he does have a new girlfriend this is a great time to create a little bit of space or distance between the two of you without it seeming weird. Give it a week or two. Don't be cold or Short with him if he contacts you. Try to act as casual as possible as your heart adjusts to this new situation. After a little bit of time has passed it'll be Easier.
