I mostly look at zodiac stuff after the fact just out of curiosity/for a laugh, but I guess some of it has held truth (could be purely coincidental, so I don't put stock in this). I'm an aquarius. It turns out that I tend to find myself drawn to taurus guys quite often, but things never work out with them. Multiple times I've found out their birthdays after everything's over, realized they're a taurus, and had a little laugh to myself, said "ah, well that explains it." A guy I'm talking to right now is a Leo, and I was bored so I looked at the compatibility. One thing that stuck out to me was the mention that Leos want a lot of attention/want to see the other person putting in as much effort as they are. Now everyone likes attention and effort, so again not purely zodiac, but that was what I needed to hear to convince myself that it was okay for me to feel like I was giving a little more attention than usual, respond quickly whenever I can, text first if I was tired of waiting. I guess it just offers a new perspective, some traits from each zodiac are easily applicable to just about anybody.

Nope. I'm more interested in personality types. Though, personally, I don't find male ENFP (my match) mentally attractive. I think people with intuition are compatible. Introverts are more preferable.

Not by themselves but one's date of birth may have some influence.

Throughout our lives, we are shaped by memories and experiences. The more special an event the more of an impact it may have.

Being born in summer (for example) may result in having many memories of warmth, pools, beaches that especially stay in one's memory cause it happened on one's own birthday. Being born in winter, may result in many defining memories relating cold and snow. Each of those memories carry a certain atmosphere that may define someone's personality.

In other words, one's date of birth may ever so slightly raise the likelihood of someone, having certain hobbies, interests or traits, connected to their zodiac sign.

I don't believe in any higher power and absolute orders but if someone's personality can be influenced by someone's day of birth.. Since zodiac signs are related to one's date of birth.. Then zodiac signs may have an impact on the compatibility of two individuals.
However, on a way lower scale than some people would say.

Of course it does but only if both people believe in it and have faith in it 100 percent. It has nothing to do with anything magical or mysterious though. Your question says Anything to do not everything to do or mostly to do. If two people believe in something they feel is there to guide them it has an effect on love and compatibility it doesn't matter if its zodiac or mole people from mars. People with similar backgrounds and beliefs and will initially gravitate towards eachother because people feel more comfortable around things that feel familiar. Anyone who has experienced basic military training has witnessed and been apart of these behaviors.

It's very clear that we get along with certain type of personalities better and I have seen some evidence that astrology in general can tell something about our personalities so yes I believe you can make predictions. But I'd never make a decision based on them or even check does our zodiac signs match. I know if I like someone, I don't need a psychic to tell me that. And what if you like someone and then zodiac signs say you are not a good match? So in my opinion it's pointless to consider whole thing even if you believe in them.

Astrology is way deeper then just your zodiac sign also called sun sign. I don't know if many people know about synastry charts but I do believe that it can show compatibility with someone or more like the energies that could manifest in an relationship with each other.
But in the end of the day it is your choice to believe it or not and one should not, not date someone because that person has an incompatible zodiac sign because like I said it is deeper then just the sign that the month you were born in has.

Yes for sure, but its all based on planetry alignments, so you may have other signs in your birth chart which affects you as a person and compatibility with others. You may be an earth sign but your rising sign is predominantly fire. It is complex if you're not sure but this is why there are stronger energy forces with one person over another in attraction.

No. I may have faith in a God I cannot see, but believing that a constellation that is not even where it was when the Zodiac was created (due to the relative wobble of the planet) and that probably exerted less of a gravitational effect upon me than the doctor who delivered me can somehow influence my life seems quite a stretch.

I mean, astrology itself is gibberish, obviously, but confirmation bias is very much a real thing.

People absolutely can sabotage themselves by believing in astrology, enforcing negative traits because "it's what their sign is like", excusing negative traits in other people because "that's how their signs are like" and so on an so forth.

Well no two people are alike and in our lives we find ourselves compatible to more than one person somtimes and they can be from different horoscopes.
I don't think you can draw a link between the two.
Not to mention zodiac is not the only horoscopes there is. What about the Chinese zodiacs factoring in the two would create a tangled mess when it comes to compatibility.

I wouldn’t choose a partner based solely on zodiac sign. But I do find myself looking at my horoscope now and then. It’s not always accurate (especially now with the love horoscope and being in the middle of a pandemic lol) but I think they are fun to read anyhow.

I dont believe in zodiac signs, reason: they were made up thousands of years ago. Their relative position in the starts is different now so the dates should have been changed and should keep changing. They haven't. So everybody has a different sign than they believe.

Im a Sagittarius and I’m married to an Aquarius, and when I look up things about our compatibility everything they say is pretty accurate. It also goes into way more detail if you really look into all your signs (we have more than one zodiac sign. We have Sun sign, Moon sign, and signs for all the planets) and it’s crazy how accurate zodiacs can be.
However, you shouldn’t base your entire love life off of it. You don’t have to avoid signs that are supposed to be incompatible
