Are more attractive people less likely to get cheated on?

Question

Based on my experiences and those of my friends I would say no. Attractive people are just as likely to get cheated on as anybody else. But I’m curious to know what other people think.

For career and personal reasons I am taking an indefinite break from this site/app after tomorrow night, so this will be the last question I’m gonna post. It’s been great hanging out with you guys and maybe someday I’ll come back. Bye 😊.

In my experience, not at all. I have seen very attractive men and women get cheated on, and usually it was with a person who wasn't anywhere near as attractive as them (not to mention that the partner was also not as attractive as the person they cheated on either, lol).

I think cheaters usually just either think the grass is greener on the other side, or like the attention and take any opportunity they can get. Many of them lack self control.

Reasons attractive people might get cheated on :

- the partner's insecurity (big one, duh)
- they're attached just not in love.
- treates partner like shit.
- somebody more attractive comes along xD.

And so on.

That's not true even in my opinion... When it comes to the matters of heart... Appearances matter in the beginning but eventually, it's the person one falls in love with... And there's always more attractive people if love isn't strong... and people cheat coz the love isn't strong... That connection two people have is what makes a relationship... That's what I think...😊

I think boredom and knowing a guy or girl for a long time totally plays a role. You want something new where the relationship is fresh. You want the romance and the sexiness that at times with old relationships gets lost in the details. You still want to have fun but the partner gets too settled in and just pushes away romance

In my experience, people cheat because they don't have the strength of character to honor their commitments. They simply don't recognize the value in keeping a promise. Cheating does not happen because they were being neglected in their relationship; that is sometimes the excuse but never the reason.

I hope that this question is not prompted by any experience you have had. Having a partner can be a devastating event and have long term consequences for the innocent partner. I know!

No. They still get cheated on. Tons of my friends are attractive people and the partners they have was just jerks who never cared. It's about who your with, not what the person looks like. At least not always. That's way the inner workings of a person and character is key. People are too busy looking at the looks, the personality, and the fantasy. But not the reality of what upholds a relationship together.

Well there's attractive and then there's SEXY💦. Attractive people look good standing still mouth closed not talking on a cover of magazine. If boring or mundane definitely getting cheated on just the same. I don't believe you have be society standards attractive to be SEXY💦. there are though a lot of decent people in the world, though the small amount of bad tend to cast doubts and negative views on those who are actually decent

and the decent loyal ones often get painted with teh same views the cheats do after being found out

I kinda think they’re more likely to get cheated on. In my personal experience, it seems like beautiful people rarely ever have to work on actual character development. Relationships can’t survive on good looks alone, so their partner cheats.

No, both have equal chance as time passes. Both partners should be willing to try new things together to keep the excitement in the relationship.
When the relationship becomes too boring, there's a high chance that some people will look for new excitements

Depends if they start relationships based on physical compatibility (i'm goodlooking so my partner being goodlooking is more important than the connection we have) hrll yeah you're more likely to get cheated on. If you have a genuine connection I don't think there's much difference left.
