I only ever see complaints of the end of relationship, but what about the beginning? What do men look for in a legitimate relationship? Just asking for a friend 👀

You need to tell your friend to ask the person she is interested in. Relationships are not about happiness. It's about being able to love the person you say you want to love. You create that happiness together and apart. What makes a man happy is knowing that he has a woman that is by his side. That's all he actually really desires. But most men are sex-driven and don't think about that or those morals anymore. Very few still do. But are rare to find. Many complaints can be avoided. But usually, these are immature people who can't handle what it takes to maintain a healthy solid relationship.

A man who wants a legitimate relationship is somebody who already has legitimate relationships with other first, and then a potential partner afterward. You don't want to just 'pick up' any man. So make sure to tell her that if she wants one herself.

I also have a few expectations that make me happy, like I expect the girl to be decent, loyal, and modest <3

Just being with that person makes me happy, its never been about what she is doing or what she isn't. As long as she doesn't break my expectations.
