My boyfriend tolerates his best friend cheating. is this bad?

I know the girl his best friend is cheating on. we're not close, but we're friends. my boyfriend told me not to tell anyone. and that only his "group" know. I feel bad but I know I can't say or do anything. can I? I can't right? I can't get it off my mind. other than that, my point is my boyfriend had always talked about how he hates the idea of cheating and people who cheat. but know he's saying it still bugs him but if it is what makes his friend happy, he's gonna let him be. I kinda wish he just didn't bother telling me this.

My brother once told me to "Mind your own business" about cheating.
He was right.
So many people cheat and she's probably either cheated on him or she knows damn well what he doing.
You getting involved could just backfire.
She might even blame you for trying to split them up.
Not to mention he will hate you and your boyfriend will be caught up in drama.
I wouldn't get involved unless you know that woman very well.
Even then you may find out that neither of them are innocent and you just stirred up shit for nothing.

I've lost friendships this way... if I find out someone is cheating I will tell the other person because I know i would want to know...

I wish he felt the same way as you but he's indifferent about the situation. is there anything I can do? should I tell him to convince his friend to do the right thing? I mean in some way he told me it bothers him, but his point was he isn't going to do anything.

You can talk to him of course tell him how it makes you feel try and make him wear the shoes of your girl and ask how he would feel if someone knew someone was cheating on you and didn't tell you.

mind your own business. he was wrong for even telling you by betraying his friend's trust but if you say anything you'll betray his trust but cause problems between him and his friend just stay out of it and don't say anything.
