The only reason I would delete my SM if my partner asked , is for security reasons. Eg , she's cop, judge , lawyer , public figure.
Why? You could EASILY just not add any pictures of them or refer to them.
@missy52 that's not how it works. The spouse gets targeted too. Lol
That's not cause for deleting YOUR social media though. You shouldn't delete it out of fear or retaliation. You could easily privatize your account instead. Stop adding your location to images and posts and keep on happily using your account. It's unfair to ask that your spouse get rid of something that stores (sometimes) hundreds of their images, acts as a communication outlet for their distant friends, and is a major form of entertainment for them. If it was legitimately life threatening then I'd understand it but if it's just as minor as a 37 year old man got mad for paying 5k after he committed a crime and is doing all this hoopla, that's just silly. Send him to jail for harassment and move on. Very rarely do the spouses of the type of people you listed get legitimately threatened. High-Case crimes, the ones with the mot vengeful people and the ones who can actually afford to stand against officials in power, dont happen nearly as often as you think. They do get harassed a bit though.
@missy52 it depends on the situation. If the person was a low profile judge/lawyer then I would not delete my SM. However a high profile Judge/Lawyer I would in a heartbeat. I don't care about SM anyways so it's not important to me.
My social media literally 7 pictures I believe. Only 1 of them is a picture of me. I don't see the point in deleting it as my 100 followers are people I met from college and not psychos who lost a case
I also never post when I'm at a location. Only when I've left will I add the image from the place. I don't use Twitter. And my snap is legit dead
Longs it's necessary... and I'm into a honest and truthful relationship
Won't happen to me because I would show her everything I have nothing to hide
Not without a good reason (if it was negatively affecting me, I was obsessed with it etc.).
Yes if there was reason to cause insecurity and causing a strain on a relationship
I would do it in a heart beat if they asked me to. I really don't care about social media.
Big red flag of controlling behavior
Yeah easily I acctually keep it more to talk with my partner.
Boyfriend no. Husband maybe.
Interesting
Nope my social life is separated from them.
Hate social media but I wouldn’t do it for a dick.
yes facebook and instagram
That's the moment I part ways with that person.
Yes, and in a heartbeat.
No!! Because I know she would never do it for me.
Sounds like a Control Freak.
No. That's controlling and toxic
social media makes people stupid and dramatic, it upvotes the most sensational news so you see the worst of the world without really knowing what's going on making you a very negative person. its also highly addictive.
life is better when you're off of it
Maybe so, bit not when they force you off
Hell yes. Had too a few times.
I don't need a partner to do that.
I'd keep my social media
I would for the love of my life.
If he asked me to I sure would
Don't have any social media except this one.
Without even knowing the reason?
No because I’m not doing anything wrong
Nope not gonna happen
I'm getting rid of my social media, all of it.
if i want to delete it is my choiche
If it bothered her, sure.
If that person is worth it, then yes I would.
A would and I did by myself.

me too I cannot really tell it now
Mm yea ofc
Yes, may be if it will be effecting our relation
Yes I would

Nope.
Hell no
No. I ain't a cuck
Yes definitely if she loves me too much.
Nope
No. .
Yes..
Don't. This is a red flag. First sign of an abusive/controlling personality. It starts with social media. Then it goes to cutting out friends. Then family. Then comes the financial abuse. Then mental. Then emotional. And eventually physical abuse. Take it from a survivor.
No..
Yes I would
Hell yea.
If she did sure.
Never
Nope!
Hahahaha no ways
hell no
