My crush is actually one of my best guy friends. I started to like him a lot and I'm hurt every time I see him talk to another girl. He told me that he has a crush and that she likes him back. They're always texting and it hurts me. He doesn't know I like him but I do. There are only two things I can do: get him back or just stay friends with him (which would be super hard because I like him a lot). I can't ask him out too because I'm scared to get rejected. Our parents are really good friends, so we always hang-out with each other. I don't want this relationship to make us awkward as well. I don't know what to do. HELP

He don't deserve you. Many guys who are crush material got a fake social charisma. Don't fall for that. They only want to charm everyone but will give their heart to one person or no one at all. Stay away from anyone who didn't liked you. Break the friendship slowly. Don't make a fool of yourself by showing your love to WRONG person otherwise in future you might turn bitter towards love and will throw away the person who will be right for you.
I'm sure if you confess him he won't reject you directly and will neither say yes. He will keep you hanging in between the friendship like you're his self assurance kit. You have to ask him out. It's no question. If he rejects you, what have you really lost? Its always scary, that will never go away. But, he may like you back. You can't know unless you communicate your feelings to him. I promise you, if you tell him, you will not regret it in 10 years no matter how things turn out, but if you don't tell him, you'll forever be trying to get over him and its hard to get over a guy you spend time with.

First of all the advice, I think you should stay friends with the guy. Second, almost every single relationship with people younger than 18 won't last to college, and like 1 in a billion actually get married, so I wouldn't worry too much because if you stay friends when they breakup the chance will arise again and you can risk it all at that point.
