My crush likes someone else, what do I do?

He's a guy and we're really close friends. I've had a crush on him for a while now and confessed to him a few months back, he didn't straight up reject me but he didn't say he liked me back either, so it's an obvious answer, he doesn't like me.

Lately he's started talking to another girl who I've known for years and he said that he might like her but he doesn't know.

I'm wondering what I can do to potentially turn his attention towards me, but I have a feeling that it'll be impossible since we're already really close. Any advice would help.

Why would you want to interfere with him and that other girl? He TOLD you he doesn't see as anything more than friends. You have to accept that.
