My crush thinks I like someone else and I'm shy. What should I do?

So I have a serious crush on this guy that I am in school with. I've seen him looking at me in class, we talk online and in between classes a lot, and I feel like we have a lot in common. The thing is that today in class I was on Facebook emailing a friend and saying thanks for getting me the phone number of another mutual friend. (My phone died and I lost all of my phone numbers, but I didn't write that because my friend knows what happened.) However, he (the guy I'm crushing on) totally saw my screen. (I know he could read it because he commented later about the game I was playing.) Now I think that he thinks I'm into this other guy. I'm not sure what to do. Obviously I could be direct, but I'm really shy and I only think that he likes me - I'm not sure. So what do you think I should do?

First if by the "game that you are playing" he is referring to your comment about 'another guy' then I think he does like you because he sees you two as 'talking'. With that said I think you should just address it, tell him that phone number you got was a number that you lost of a friend. Also, if you are not sure by what he means by "the game" he thinks your playing just ask him.

Ok, so bad wording on my part...I was referring to him looking over my shoulder and IMing me the answers to the sudoku game I was playing

Okay well that makes the situation very different =] . but I still feel like you should ask him but since you're not a direct type of person maybe you can try flirting with him and notice if he responds positively or not..
