What does it mean when your boyfriend says he has a surprise for you?

Recently he’s told me he has a surprise for me and he hinted it’s something I’m not going to lose & I’m going to love it. We’ve been together for 4 years, this year will mark it 5 years so I’m thinking maybe a proposal? He’s also wanting to move in with me this year. Of course, I want it to be a surprise but I am curious if it sounds like a potential proposal to anyone else!

I’ve never lost anything but he hinted that whatever this surprise is I’m not going to lose it. I don't know why he would word it like that but it makes me curious enough to want opinions of what it could be 😭
