Question

I want to build a tribe of women who want to take action and command better relationships with the men in their lives.

I see a lot of women on GaG who I know have got to be sick of it.

I know I’m getting tired of reading about so many of you feeling stuck and miserable in your relationships.

If you are: Done with men who ghost, who don't want to commit, men who give mixed signals, only interested in sex, men who make you chase them, men who send dick pics, emotionally unavaiable men, men who don't respect you, who don't trust you or who can't be trusted themselves, men who won't do housework, make you pay for everything etc.

Here’s the thing though. This has a lot to do with you as well.

What you allow is what will continue.

YOU have to stop allowing it.

I have been trying to tell other girls/women for years since I realized it. But the whole "sexual revolution" with women that has been happening since like the 1960s is really not beneficial to women. Yea some parts have been but there is a reason that women's happiness has been steadily decreasing since then. Us women have basically been teaching men to treat women as sex objects by sleeping with the men who treat women as sex objects.
I'm not saying that we need to all wait to be married before having sex but have some self-control and wait 3-6+ months before having sex in a relationship. If two people are dating each other for a while the longer the better basically without sex then you will be forced to actually do things together and see if you two are really compatible outside of a lust-filled relationship. Lust and the rabbit-like sex that you have while starting a relationship will always fade and once it does you will see who that guy really is.

Stop wasting your time in your 20's putting out for douchbag guys because your 20's are shorter than you think and before long you will be in your mid 30's wanting to settle down with no good guys left.

I realised that a guy that behaved like my ex doesn't deserve an explanation nor does he deserve my time or my energy. He deserves the ghosting that we get unnecessarily.
Any man that treats me that way does also.
What I have come to realise is that he was afraid. He saw something in me that he didn't like. And he even told me. "you make me feel like you don't need me".
What I did being young and naive was dim my light and let him start messing with my head.
Wrong!
I should have told him this " I don't need you no. But I do need you, so step the f*ck up or move along".

He messed with my head something rotten, you really don't want to know. (I've spoken about it)
Until one day I realised it didn't matter about who I am he would always feel insecure in my presence. So I had to let him go, go abd find someone that didn't make him feel inferior.
By all accounts my friends and family even people I've spoken to here and on another site agree I'm reasonable and didn't disrespect or emasculate him. I was just too nice.
So single it is until I can find someone that doesn't see me as a threat or to be put in line.

I would like to add another thing "Gaslighting you and lying to you".
Some incels are CON artists. They will pretend to be 'shy, reserved and will fulfill your small needs after interviewing you'. They have a hidden agenda and know how to trick women. They will play well for 1 year or two and will get bored of you once they're satisfied. Average/ugly looking guys use this trick more often. But you have to notice how they tell lies, their behavior towards others, their patterns, etc. This will save women from a lot of heartache and wasted years. Honesty is the basic element of any relationship. You don't have to instruct a man to be honest, because he will learn to lie better. Just sit back and observe. Lastly these kinda liars can be CLINGY AF, will interfere on your goals because they have nothing to do and want your attention. As a result you feel drained out. But then they will guilt trip you again and again. Even if you catch their lies, they will deny it or start crying.

I've been lucky in my choice of men. Typically I'm the one who ends up being an unhealthy partner, though I think I've made great strides.

That being said, I agree wholeheartedly on behalf of my friends who are experiencing that frustration. You're right that what you allow to happen will continue to occur. But we also need to be able to re-teach men some basic things that society baked into their brains from birth. We shouldn't HAVE to but we need to.

Because these boys need to get their shit together.

My relationships with the men in my life are pretty good. My husband is amazing and my best friend (who's a guy) is wonderful. Other than them two I don't personally speak yo many other men. I speak to some online sometimes but usually don't have issues with them. I have had issues with men in the past but they're no longer in my life and if I have issues now, I'll just walk away from them.
