How much does physical appearance matter to you?

Whether you are a woman or a man. Does physical appearance matter to you when initially getting to know someone (very early stage of dating)?

Their face

Their teeth

Their body

Appearance is very important to me. I wouldn't date someone that I wasn't physically attracted to. Not that they have to look like a typical media icon or anything. They just have to fit my idea of cute and attractive. Also, appearance isn't the only reason I would continue dating them. Their personality and behavior have a lot to do with what makes them attractive.

Physical appearance does matter to a decent extent. Physical appearance is the FIRST thing humans notice about each other. Before you make a friend/SO, you talk to that person. Before you even open your mouths, you SEE each other. It is human nature to judge looks. Also, physical appearance can tell me how well she takes care of herself. She does not need to be a super model to attract me, but I do need to see signs that she cares for her basic health.

I was fairly hesitant to go out with my husband when he first asked me out. If I’m being honest I probably wouldn’t have said yes if he hadn’t been hot with a super sexy body

It matters in that I always think long term. Initially I may not think of it so long as there is chemistry, but in the long term, if we do get to that stage, I’m going to pick up on things that never use to bother me. Appearance is one of them. I try to stay in shape and take care of myself for this and other reasons. I too expect it of others🤷🏾‍♂️.

Face, height don’t matter to me because you can’t control that.
However, your body shows your health for me and how much you take care of yourself. The way you dress, teeth, etc. I judge that highly about you. I only am attracted to thin girls for this reason.

Physical appearance matters because of attraction. If there is no attraction, I can still get to know the woman but I won't find her physically attractive. I don't think I'm a very shallow person though, so I don't have unrealistic standards.

Healthy bodies. Underweight/overweight are a no go for me. The way their nails look too, like, I’m not tryna be with a guy/girl who has bad looking nails.
