I don't think they "show" their true colors AFTER the relationship is over. I think they had certain intentions that just were not understood at the beginning of the relationship. Hindsight is 20/20. You only figure it out AFTER the relationship is over.

Maybe, sometimes people just hide their emotions by acting bad. But yeah I think once they feel like they got enough out of you they just go look for something else. That’s not real love.
