No issues with either. In my case my good friend dated my sister for four years and they became engaged. I can't think of many guys who wouldn't want to have a good friend as their brother in law. Long story short, they broke off the engagement- for reasons which neither have revealed. My sister did marry, but I regret to say that I was not especially friendly to my new BIL. That has changed, but he and I never became "tight".

Not in the least. Even after the breakup he and I stayed tight. I wish I knew why the broke up.

I would really rather not do that, I usually, try not to mix my circles of friends and family... they all know each other, they get along, can hang out and stuff... but I like that they're from different circles and backgrounds.

But if one of them somehow ended with my younger brother then I don't have a word on that. My older brother is an absolute NO.

Yeah i would. And been okay with it would depend on who my bestfriend is. Like my childhood bestfriend nope i wouldn't be so, he's not the smartest when it comes to dating. Great and fun to be around but yeah he has a weakness in the girlfriend department and him just going out to break up a couple weeks later would then make it awkward.

If he was smarter at dating then sure. And tbh who's better random stranger who could be abusive, a dick or something than a person i know i can trust.
