I don't think people are good or bad, their are just people. For one person doing something might be good while for another person that might be bad. The concept of good and bad doesn't really apply anymore, there is no black and white anymore, everything is just gray. People only follow what they think is right and most of the time, people follow the concept of "Good" which has been put down by the society.

And as far as serial killers go, to find out if they are really good or bad, it would take years of research.

I can't answer this because I don't believe there are many 100% good or 100% bad people. I believe most people tend to be good (depending on your culture) and sometimes do bad things or support wrong causes for several reasons. Most of these are due to people choosing bad information sources and not objectively challenging the narrative, fear or ignorance. Enlightened people are usually good, generous and considerate.

I think almost all people are born with the capacity to be good but some are just born bad and there is nothing you can do about it. Possibly one day we can find a reliable way to screen people at a young age and separate the bad one's from society.

The vast majority are considerate and kind and make the world worth living in.

yes we are all good people but some of us had bad childhoods or relationships that messed us up and we couldn't get the help we needed.
