What made you commit to a girl or make her girlfriend? What are the qualities that made u fall for her?
What made you wanna make her your girlfriend and see her in different light than other girls?
Did she withhold sex until you people were in a relationship?

Usually, we just spent a lot of time together (maybe 30+ dates or so) and slept together multiple times and nothing went wrong. So I thought we might as well consider ourselves an item now.

In my case, I was already looking towards possible commitment when I asked a girl on a date. I wouldn't ask her out if I saw no potential for a future. So it's only if we didn't click and connect well on dates that I would abort the mission.

Did you see her as someone you'd girlfriend up from beginning?

Yes, but not like I was in love with her yet. But that's always been my desire and goal was to have a serious partner, maybe even a wife one day (which I now have). Also, this might not sound very romantic but I never believed in the idea of "the one". It's like when I started dating my wife, I thought she was great, and we kept dating, and kept dating, and we got along so well and kept getting along so well... then we started living together, and we still got along so well! So I married her. And then, now, over 10 years into marriage, we're still getting along so well.

So for me, it was less about the woman and more about "us". After all, I might love the qualities of a woman but maybe we can't get along... I had an ex like that where I really loved her character, but we just weren't very compatible. We argued a whole lot.

I also never did the online dating thing. All the girls I asked out were ones I already met and we already clicked with a lot. I asked them out because we were already clicking so much. So on the dates, all I was looking to make sure is that we'd continue clicking like that for a good time.
