@Hyaspist Yes you are right, in most cases it's just a PLAIN WORD, because people forgot what respect actually means and use it correctly.
They rather respect themselves causing them to be extra selfish.
But on the other hand, I think everyone percieves respect differently. In my case, I respect my partner when he needs his spaces, I respect him when he has late shifts and i prepare dinner for him, I make sure he just gets in the house and has dinner ready, I respect his family and friends by calling them, organizing events with them and so on. And HE does the same for me, so at least in my relationship this is respect, for others it might be differently.
