Are some people not good for relationships?

2 relationships (neither passing 6 months) ended because I'm lazy and I hate having to show dedication too often to people in general.
Relationships feel like you have to put the new logs on the fire every single day or else it dies out. The idea of consistency gets be bored. I like the idea of romance but not the hard work nor daily responsibilities that it includes.

Are some people like me just not good for relationships?

I treat a relationships the same way I treat my bedroom. Sometimes it's a bit messy and I don't fix my bed every single day. Sometimes I'll clean stuff and other times I don't; basically when I feel like it.

You're right. A relationship needs regular tending. It could be that you're just not ready for that type of commitment. Do you treat your job/career the same way? Are you comfortable with people treating you the same way? Nothing thrives without tending, especially if you want quality or depth. If all you want is superficial, let people know that from the start, so you can attract those who want the same thing. There's nothing wrong with wanting whatever works for you, but be open and honest with others, or you won't like the results.

I'm like that with my job too. It's not what I've studied and it's unlikely I'll ever get promoted. All I get is worthless compliments once in a while (what for if I'm not getting promoted any time soon) so I just work to earn money, that's all and nothing special.

I imagine owning a company but putting someone of trust in charge of maintenance and updates. I hate cleaning, hate writing down inventories frequently and can be forgetful about things at times.

Regular tending in a relationship or else the loves dies out soon (next thing is they dump you and fall in love with someone else easily... you're nothing then) reminds me of cleaning and fixing the house every single day, ughhhhh

The amount we invest determines what we get from our investment. It sounds like you have no interest in investing in any aspect of your life, and are accepting that your choices will take you nowhere. It's your life and your choice. It's not up to anyone else to tell you to do differently. As long as you understand and accept the limited results from your limited actions, then we need to respect your choice. This isn't about who you are but who you choose to be. I hope your choices take you where you want to go.
