Do people who are together HAVE to sleep in the same bed?

Never mind beds, there are couples who sleep in separate rooms. This may be due to issues of snoring, or conflicting work schedules, where one would disturb the other's sleep by getting up and dressing.

If you don't feel comfortable, say so. You shouldn't go through life never getting a good nights sleep.

No you do not and I’m sure there’s plenty of couples that do not. Me personally, I think a lot of intimacy and closeness is made in the bed at night and would not agree with my boyfriend to sleep in separate beds. I think both people need to agree on this to make it work.

Not important to all girls, but important to me, yes. Physical intimacy is a must for me which happens a lot when you are bed together

I meant you can snuggle and cuddle all the time... Just minus the time you're sleeping.. It's not a big compromise when I think about it

To me it is a compromise because there’s lots of stuff that happens. Nothing better than both of you waking up at 5 am and pulling each other closer in to cuddle, or waking up in the morning and automatically looking over at each other. That stuff doesn’t happen when you aren’t in the same bed together

Oh i see.. It's not that i don't like that.. It's just I'm one of those people who's not used to this level of physical intimacy... I really like the idea of it.. But I get anxious and uncomfortable when I do it... Guess I haven't been around people who made me that comfortable yet...

It’s not for everyone lol. It’s just expected intimacy in my personal relationship. I’m sure my personal needs in a relationship isn’t everyone’s. There’s nothing wrong with sleeping in separate beds if your partner is okay with it. Some people are totally fine with it, but that’s why it’s important to find somebody you are compatible with

you're right... I still think if I met someone I really like would make me ok with it.. Even gradually... I really like the idea of that kind of intimacy... I'm a very affectionate person overall by the way

Well me and my boyfriend are on the extreme side of we basically slept in the same bed since the day we met lol me and him went drinking with his friends when we met and I ended up sleeping in the same bed just as platonic friends at that time, so it would be weird for us to all the sudden sleep in two different beds
