Girls, If your boyfriend told you that you were his number one priority, would you reciprocate his feelings?

I'm just curious if some people nowadays prioritize their romantic relationship or if they don't take it that seriously like people did in the past. I have always felt unusual because I really only care about being with my girlfriend when I am in a relationship. Other things like hobbies, my job, my parent's expectations, etc all come after my relationship with her. Her happiness is the most important thing to me. I am the cliche kind of guy who sees her as my other half. However, I have unfortunately never met anyone who sees relationships the same way. All past relationships ended because I was not that important in comparison to most other things like her job, friends, hobbies, or her parent's opinions and my more devoted actions were never reciprocated. I want to know if putting your romantic relationship first is not really a thing in modern culture or if it just depends on the person.

My daughter is number one and i make that clear the entire planet. I expect the same if they have a child themselves if not. Kid still number one but i better be 2nd
