Do you believe in being always available?
I do, and I think it's a duty if you embark in social or political work. Although my high level of work often means I can't always be there to hold hands with the lower cadres and ranks, I still prefer to spend most of my time with them rather than the so-called important people... keep the door open for everyone, plus it's only by talking with citizens and ordinary workers that I can get proper and useful feedback on the policies decided at the higher levels.
