Is this a sign my boyfriend is going to propose soon?

Hi all, been w my boyfriend for over 6 months and we have discussed marriage before and we are in a committed serious relationship, the other night we were goofing around and he look my hand in his and held my ring finger in between his thumb and forefinger and held it up to his mouth and kissed it then secretively whispered something into my finger then playfully told my finger "don't tell her!" ( i know, what a goofball lol) and I said what? and he said your finger will tell you when the time is right. Last night, he did it again where he picked my finger up between his and whispered into it again and did the same thing. I also noticed him feeling my ring finger subtly on another occasion whilst we were watching movies, I'm wondering if he is thinking of proposing anytime soon?

I’ve dated someone for four years before and felt like I knew nothing about him despite spending all our time together, so time doesn’t matter lol my parents have been married happily over 40 years and they met and got engaged three months later, when you know you know. There’s couples who are together decades and split up so your comment is irrelevant
