The thing is the married guy should leave his wife for her , He already proved to himself that he doesn’t love and value his wife if he is out fucking some other girl , , Same goes for Married women cheating on their husbands, They are living a lie and lying to themselves that they actually love their partner and pretty much wasting time if they go back to them They are only going back because what was invested not going back for love , Bottomline most people are selfish and don’t really know what the true meaning of love and commitment is. People that cheat and go back to their partners are only wasting their time , they are holding on to something that isn’t there , No one likes to admit to themselves that they are a piece of shit. but if you admit that you are , others will actually respect that. That’s the problem with this world , people are afraid to admit that they are a piece of shit. We all aren’t perfect people , we all make dumb mistakes , but if you live up to those dumb mistakes then that’s what makes you a better person and gain respect from others , I have been played by married women before that I didn’t know were married until after the fact , that went back to their husbands like nothing happened , they are pathetic to me , but the ones that divorced their husbands I actually respected them , A lot of people get married for the wrong reasons , they have good intentions in the beginning but then realize their partner isn’t who they wanted them to be , if you are unhappy in a relationship then you need to leave period , life is too short to stand by someone you truly don’t love

A. Same reason people play the lottery. Probably extra incentive for women to do foolish things since they can always claim their mistakes are a man's fault and most people will believe them.
B. Over inflated ego. You being a woman, I'm sure you're familiar with how women can easily get attention from men. So the woman who has had tons of sexual attention will start to think that she actually has value beyond sex when that's not true. She can't comprehend that the guy's wife has value beyond sex and there's more to life than sex.
C. He massaged her ego by pretending she had more value than sex to him.

I'd guess that young women are way more likely to go down this road. Older ones would know that just because you have tons of sex with a man doesn't mean he will take you seriously.

Well, I actually did have this happen to me once. I was unaware he was married (separated) when we first began flirting. He didn't mention it for quite some time. But before we slept together, he told me, and after this he took steps immediately to finalize the divorce. We did end up getting engaged a year or so later. So, actually married guys do leave their wives for some women.

Though I've never had any other experience with married men. And I NEVER would do it knowingly/intentionally. Like, why? Who wants to be the side chick. Stupid.

Those women are deluded into thinking that their married lover is a poor man trapped into a sad, unwanted marriage with a crazy woman. The married man usually lies and makes his lover believe he loves her over his wife and that he's just waiting for the right time to separate.

It’s pretty common to think that because a lot of these married guys are just too much of a coward to leave their loveless marriages on their own so they just whine and complain about their marriage and tell everyone they cheat with that they’re in a loveless marriage but then they’re too much of a coward to leave because, in reality, they are too much of a coward to do anything.

It’s just low self esteem and feeling worthless based on the limerence/infatuation that’s created in my head

That’s one tough way to get it

Or u know just hit some therapy books and work at it slowly from within and let go of the infatuation even if it is super hard at first to feel rejected and unwanted
