Cheating is breaking the rules that you and your partner have set out for your relationship, so what constitutes cheating varies from relationship to relationship.

I wouldn't consider it cheating:

- you said he was just playing around

- you aren't threatened by her, which makes me think that you don't think there's anything more going on than just playing around

- he did it right in front of you, so he probably doesn't see it as cheating and he wasn't trying to hide it from you

But if you have a problem with it, then talk to him about it.

I wouldn't consider that cheating. But I DO consider it disrespectful to you and your feelings. You need to tell him how you feel about it. Even if he didn't already know that it would bother you, he didn't really stop to think that it might before he did it either. That's inconsiderate.

well its not cheating...but it seems like he doesn't respect your relationship a lot. Let him not get away with it... give him a good dose of what you think about it... and warn him... and don't forget to tell him how disrespectful that was.

Definitely not cheating, but certainly not cool. That's out of order and needs to show you more respect. But if you showed him a sign that it was alright but not saying anything or no facial expressions, he's only going to do it again. He'll think you approved.
