Do you think after being in a serious long term relationship you should stay single for a good while after the relationship has ended?

Anonymous
The guy I’m talking to, he had a 10 year relationship that recently ended but with me, he is saying that I seem perfect for him and he actually sees himself settling down with me and marrying me. I know his intentions are good.
but after 10 YEARS (they started dating at age 15-25 now), I think he’s going to want to date and sleep around and figure out what he’s missing. He’s in his prime!
how do I tell him I don’t think it’s best in the long run?
I don’t want to hop in a relationship with him and then have him resent me for taking away his prime years. help
You should stay single after a long term relationship
If you want to get into another serious relationship right after, go ahead
People who are always in relationships tend to cheat on their partners
