How do you tell the difference between if you have a crush on someone or if you're truly in love with them?

Crush is an unsubstantiated romantic interest in someone, and love is a substantiated desire.

If you don't know jack shit about a person and yet you think you like them- that's a crush.
If you get to know the worst thing there is to know about a person and you still like them, I'd be more comfortable calling that love, or delusion.

I think time will tell. If you spend time from a crush the feelings will fizzle out but that real love shit it can be months or years the feelings might not be as strong but they don't go away

For me it was becoming comfortable. The other person seeing me at my worst and still sticking around. If someone can do that with you they might just be a keeper
