I stupidly did get caught up in the words that weren't said than the actions that showed it in volumes.. No, wouldn't make that mistake again.. In a perfect world, they'd say it and show it, but if I have to choose one or the other, I'll go with the actions, they speak more truth than words from liars who say those words without even knowing what love really means, much less "meaning" it when they say it.
I've come to the point in life that I realize that a person's words mean nothing if their actions contradict them. I care about what they DO and not what they say. My significant other can tell me she loves me and I appreciate it... as long as her actions back these words.
If I have to choose between her never saying she loves me, but SHOWS it and vice versa, I would rather have her show me rather than telling me. I've been in a relationship where it's all talk but no action. And I'm honestly done with that kind of bullshit.
once you really and genuinely feel in love then it is very easy to say it... so it's best to say it
" don't need to say it, I show you love all the time" even if it were to be true, it will always sound like a cheap excuse and it will show that your significant other is just not worth your effort on whatever reason you have to not express yourself freely
so why make a prisoner of yourself? that's always kind of weird, not good at all... lol
If he treats me like a lady, checks on me occasionally, shows that he cares, and most importantly? Brings me food-
He never has to say those three words. I'm serious.
As cliche as it sounds, actions speak louder than words

I'd like to hear it every blue moon. But not necessary every day or even every week. Just in a blue moon. Randomly. I'd be nice.
😅Though if someone said it everyday or just too often in general, it'd kinda annoy me and piss me off.
I'm not clingy in any way, and I'd like a partner that was similar to me in that aspect.
Yeah, they don't have to say it everyday and I prefer that it is shown way more often than told, but now and then I also need the verbal confirmation.
If she treats me very kindly and respect literally everything I would do for her, I wouldn't need to hear her say she loves me because her actions literally show it to me.
Oh and I can't forget if she allowed sex between I am all great, let not be boring though.
It’s nice to hear it. I can only imagine men like to hear it too.
Much like an apology the words mean absolutely nothing if there's no action behind them
The words mean nothing to me. Have seen too many cases of a woman saying it while being a cheating whore or treating me like I was trash. Before I wised up.
in a world where people have become so distant and hands off you better damn well believe i want to see it, hear it, and feel it everyday.
I don’t care. My parents never told me they love me but I can see it clearly by their actions and how they do anything they can to make my life easy and happy. That’s 100 times better than just hearing the word I LOVE YOU everyday without actually mean it or giving a damn about you or even care that you exist. lol
How fucking stupid i thought its about parents not partner. But yeah i do care about if he says it or not.
My love language is quality time and words of affirmation so yes if and when they love me, they need to say it
No for me it's enough when he shows me and I know it, still it's nice to hear but It's definitely more important for me to just know it and feel it
Love is expressed as much through action as it is words but with that being said I would still want to be told it because it's still nice to hear it.
well… yes, kind of
It’s a different kind of heart melting feeling to actually hear those words from someone you love, I would assume…
I would prefer if they said it, at least in the beginning. I think it's important to establish that connection and bond. That's what literally makes the relationship.
I still care, because I know it's honest.
However I did hear those three words mostly with cynical undertone or in moments after lot of satisfying joy.
Actions speak louder than words. It is nice if they say it once in awhile though.
You don't have to say it all the time. But if you know the partner truly loves you it's nice to hear them say it once in a while.
They're just words, any idiot can say them.
I wanna feel it and hear it
Just show me you care.
It's nice to hear her say It once in awhile
Nah. Show me..
