Will I ever find someone?

So I always hear females saying things like for guys to be themselves and not change anything for girls they like etc

I'm an average guy, 23 from UK and honestly not really had any experience with dating or talking with girls, Over the last few months I've been wanting to "change" just something that even just makes me "stand out" more towards girls if that makes sense. Almost everyone I knew from school have kids or engaged or even dating people. For me and as "cringy" it may sound I generally just want someone that I love, can go places with and be that cute couple stuff you usually see on Instagram or something...

The point is I just need advice or something that could possibly help or something...

You need to need to want the relationship and be able to express your intentions when you first begin to talking to the girl. Don’t pretend to be a friend, only talking about miscellaneous stuff and then ask her out ask her out 5 months later. That’ll show her that you weren’t confident to express your feelings to her. It’ll also make her think you will hide stuff from her. Girls like guys that are confident in themselves. You want to let her know you like, but try to be light hearted about it. Don’t just come up and say I’m in love with you out of no where. Try to physically touch her. Like when you are walking gently put your hand on her back or shoulder closes to you and Gently push her in the direction you are walking in. Don’t put your arm around her or hold her hand until you know she doesn’t mind you touching her. And ask yourself why do you want the relationship. Is it because you’re lonely or doing it for social media post and self gratification? If those are the reasons, then you need to find a better reason. I know that’s easy for me to say because I born before the age of the smart-phone and only had my personality to work with. It’ll be hard to reprogram that way of thinking.

get in decent to good shape, especially arms and shoulders, get a decent respectable job and focus on yourself for a couple years. Don't do any drugs or alcohol so you will think clearly, then start looking for a good mate. It takes time to find someone good, and high quality people will usually only want other high quality people. You have until 55 to have healthy kids as long as you are healthy, so the good news is that you have more time to do well and find the right person than a woman would in your same situation.

I know how you feel. Im in the same boat but what I've learnt is its better not to settle for less. Take time. It will come. Of course, there are things you may do to increase your chances.

I understand where you’re coming from cause I feel the same way. I never wanted to/tried to/thought about fitting in with anyone. If me being myself is not good enough to get a girlfriend then trying is just pointless
