Maybe I should specify that it does not have to be a huge gesture?
Personally, I have a hard time even buying guys romantic gifts cuz what do you buy for a guy?
Everywhere you go, millions of dollars were invested into the idea of giving gifts to women; flowers, jewellery, chocolates etc. I'm sorry but the norm was established from a long time of marketing. I'm telling you it isn't a case of malevolence.
Men also need to market this idea as well. I always say, "praise is the best motivator." Men must encourage this behaviour in women as well just as we women (and mostly marketers) have been doing. And we can only control our own lives so focus there. Have a great day.
