How to stop falling for a girl?

We are very good friends. We trust each other 100% she is super nice ( referring to her personality) . Lately I have been getting feelings for her…!!. Of course if she wanted something more, I would go for it because im positive it would work (long term). However if she didn’t want something more and I was sure she didn’t, maybe … just maybe I would stop wanting a relationship with her and not risk our bond at some point. Sometimes im just thinking to go and tell her.. Maybe I regret I tell her but then again, maybe I regret If I don’t tell her.

This is common. I know how you feel. You have feelings, you want those feelings to grow but you don't want to risk losing her as a friend. My thoughts are that if you don't tell her, you'll be secretly pining for her, she'll realize it and it'll mess up the friendship anyways so you have to be honest with her but also if you want to keep being just friends if she says no, you have to be prepared to let go of those feelings. If you can't, you need to move on, because you can't become a guy secretly hoping for something that won't happen if she doesn't want it.

In general I take risks such as risk of being rejected or embarrassed but when it comes to a person so close to me; I’m trying to be as perfect as to not disturb the relationship I have with that person. A couple of months ago I lost (broke up) a person very dear to me (girlfriend). Thought I was going far with her but the circumstances (distance and seeing her 3 or 4 times a year) made it very hard for us and even harder for her. I put away my ego and pushed her a away so she can find someone who can give her more than me. I was struggling to accept the fact I lost a partner and a friend unti she showed me a part of her I ‘ve never seen b4 and made it very easy for me to move on. Conclusion : I am capable and willing to let my feelings go and cherish the friendship if I tell her and she doesn’t feel the same but I cannot be 100% sure about her reaction. Will she be okay with maintaining our friendship after I tell her how and what I feel for her? But then I again her reaction is out of my control; should I not worry about that?

I think that if you told her, even if she didn't feel the same, she'd understand because she's also your good friend. If you know her friends, you might try to ask one of them to kind of act as a go-between and see how she responded to the possibility of a relationship with you, that way you wouldn't have to directly tell her without knowing. I can't say for sure that what you're concerned about won't happen (her getting upset and causing the friendship to end), but that's unlikely. If you told her your feelings, a friend particularly a girl, should understand.

Unfortunately there isn’t a friend who can provide that kind of hell. I’m gonna do it, im gonna risk it. I can’t have in my mind the possibility of me and her being together. I will make it happen or I will stop thinking of it when I get rejected

Typical male problem bud. We get along with someone and think, shit, this girl is awesome. If thats a play she's into and you're willing to risk it then send it. If not, cherish the friendship and let a good thing be.

Man that's tough. Is there a way you can find out through a friend or something so you don't have to risk her telling you in person if she isn't interested. Does she hint things to you? Maybe she likes you as well. You never know maybe she feels the same as you do and does not want to risk what you two have

I believe she does not have a friend which she shares her relationship stuff other than myself. The thought that has been eating me inside out is “you never know until you try” but when I try will it be worse? Meaning losing her..
