My boyfriend commented on this girls ass and I’m thinking about ending it here am I overreacting?

Me and my boyfriend was on TikTok scrolling watching videos this girl came up on the next video and had booty shorts on and we’re we’re only 2 seconds into the video when all of a sudden he says “DAmnn” It took me about 5 seconds to process what he was saying damn about so I asked him why he said that (because I didn’t want to assume) he starts LAUGHING and I’m sitting there just looking at him like what the hell is funny so he starts saying “sorry it’s just her butt is big I didn’t expect it” and starts to laugh some more now I’m just feeling uncomfortable and disrespected bc he’s still laughing when I’m obviously getting upset. His brother comes out his room and ask my same question on why he’s laughing he tells him and starts laughing more at this point I’m over it and I get all my stuff and gathering everything to leave he basically didn’t do anything for me not to leave knowing I just took a shower and it’s late at night. Smh while I’m getting everything he’s just sitting down Lmao. So I mean yeah I left and when I get home that’s when he decided to text me saying……”I’m sorry boo I would never say some shit like that out my mouth again I really did not mean I understand you don’t wanna talk to me or don’t believe I’m for you but I’m all in with u. Can’t believe I just fucked everything up your more then enough I’m sorry i kno it’s over just kno I love you I hope u can forgive me one day”…. And in the past I’ve always had exs make me feel insecure or invalid and would purposely try and make me jealous. And the thing is with me and my now boyfriend is we both don’t get jealous or say things to make each other uncomfortable (or I hoped) but this is new and came out of no where I don’t know what to do because I wouldn’t ever make a comment like that about another man. And I just feel so disappointed and disrespected. Please someone give me advice or tell me if I’m being too sensitive…..

Men can be boys sometimes. My ex used to do that and I'd be like "I'll actually kill u". It's good you reacted that way to show him that it wasn't cool and it's good he apologized. Communication is key in a relationship. I'd just keep an eye out for patterns of it, then if it happens again react harsher.

His comment was a genuine reaction and had nothing to do with you. Your insecurities are yours to deal with especially when he didn't do anything to purposely harm you. Maybe you should break up so you can deal with your insecurities alone and not drag this poor guy down with you.

Hmm maybe your right. But there’s more to it. I was single for 3 years and I’ve had issues in the past where my ex’s tried to belittle me and make me insecure. But I grew from it now and I feel like I’ve come a long way to not be stuck in the same habits. So now I’ve made boundaries and he has boundaries as well as me and I respect them the problem is I’ve been seeing patterns of him doing and saying things that he knows makes me uncomfortable and that’s my problem right
there.

Thats so weird dont end your relation because of this. If you knew most of guys do 10x worse, he made a litle mistake he admit now forgive him and forget. Because if you forgive and still have this in thought.. it will a nightmare for you and him

The only problem for me I feel is my boundaries being crossed.. overall I trust him and i never assume anything bad about him. But I just want my boundaries to be respected. Thank you for your advice !!
