Girl was eying up my boyfriend. Am I overreacting over this?

Last night me, my boyfriend who I gone out for about a month, and two others went out last night to a bar. Their was dancing involved there. Their was a point in the night where this very trashed girl was eying up my boyfriend. I wasn't bothered by it because I know he's attractive and he didn't even notice because he was talking to his buddy. Then she walks up and asks him to dance. Apparently he said he was already with me and he did ask his buddy and some other guys around if they wanted to instead. They said no so he turns and leans over to me and asked me if its OK to dance one song with this girl. I looked at him like are you kidding your considering this? But I said to him that I can't control him that he has free will (I promised myself I would never become the crazy controlling gf). My tone though wasn't too approving. Against what I thought he goes and dances with her. This wasn't slow dancing this was like club music. It really upset me but I forced myself not to be a b*tch about it. When he came back he could tell I was upset. I felt really hurt that I couldn't look at him. The rest of the night was just bad because of it.

I care about him and I felt that night I really couldn't help feeling hurt over it. I don't know do you guys think I'm just overreacting and that I need to loosen up or something?

who did he take home? simple question, if you there wasn't anything to it he was just being polite , he did ask all his friends right. I'm assumming they responded negatively is the reason why he (repeat here he ask for your permission) because maybe he felt sorry for her that none of his friends would dance with her. I'm supposing by what you put her it was just one dance song that was fast and not a slow one. seeing this is 1 month old please update soon

Sounds like an over-reaction to me! Also, if you're going to get super upset if he dances with another girl, you should mention that to him instead of pretending it doesn't bother you. No one wins in that scenario.

Next time, tell him "yeah of course! There's this guy I wanted to dance with too. Meet you back here after the song!" I doubt he'll ask to do it again. People usually don't consider in situations like that how they would feel if they were in your shoes. I had to do this once or twice with my boyfriend, and every time he'd decide not to do it because he didn't like when I did it to him.

I wouldn't think too much of this love. I can see where you're coming from in the sense that it's upsetting you but don't let this influence your relationship. It happened and I'm pretty sure you're boyfriend understands that this incident wasn't very nice of him and I highly doubt he'll repeat this. He messed up and now you just need to let go.

yeah next time just tell him that you don't want him dancing with any other girls periode and that you made a mistake by not telling him straight up NO this time.
