How do you build life experience and how do you know that been living your life?

For me all my life I have been in college or played video games. I haven't traveled by myself, had a relationship, gone on to many dates, own a car, rent my own apartment, or moved out of my parents house. So, have I been living life? I just like it's passing along and can't do much because I'm broke 🥺

I haven't done any adult things and feel weird telling you about it. Am I just a late bloomer in life or just stupid?

You are fine. We all get around to doing different things at different times. Doing those things doesn't mean your living life by the way. That stuff is all stress. Best to live your life stress free like you are doing

If you don't have any stories, you didn't live. You don't want to get old and look back at your live and realize you forgot to live it. If that's not what you want, then change something. And don't procrastinate your life away or you'll miss the whole thing.

You are 26. You are overdue to start living. How many excuses have you made? How many more are you going to make?

It's up to you what you do with life. You listed several things you haven't done. If those things are important, then make an effort to do them. You can start with trying to move out of your parents house. If you can't afford it, then that is what you have to work on first. You need to make a plan to improve your finances, because that's needed for so many things.

You might be OK now with sitting around playing video games. But if you keep doing it, when you are my age you will probably have regrets. Even among gamers being a no-lifer is not a compliment. Even most gamers who turn pro and make a bunch of money on Twitch have a life outside of gaming.

If you went to college and got some graduate degrees, then it's not too unusual for someone your age to not have done much else. But it's time to put that behind and do something. It's up to you what you do.

You ask if your life is worthless. No it's not worthless. But by asking this question is shows that it's something of concern to you. You have to decide for yourself and put in some thought and effort. It's very easy to procrastinate and become apathetic and let your life pass by.

Life is long enough that you don't have to spend every minute or every year climbing Mount Everest. You have time to do things wrong. You have time to make mistakes. You have time to kick back and to nothing. You have time to make bad decisions. You just don't want that to be ongoing for decades. You shouldn't feel under pressure to do things. Feeling under pressure sucks really bad. It's not like you have to do anything right this instant. But you do need to evaluate your life and decide if it's going the direction you want.

I got my first job right out of high school. Then a year later I started college. It has been one thing after another after that. I guess all these experiences as hard as they might have been made me into the person I am today.
I guess you should get out into the world and have some experiences, even if you do it by yourself. It will give you confidence and make you a more interesting person.
