What is the art of letting go of people?

It’s so hard. To move on. It hurts a lot.

Yeah I’m currently hurting too..

I don’t know what to do other than to keep myself busy. It’s the only process I can have. Eat junk comfort food for one day to eat some feelings. Then spend the rest of the month doing things like working out, learning new languages, little hobbies like poetry, writing, board game creation, little video game things etc..

just know, that your feelings are real, and you probably felt stronger for the person than they felt for you…

usually one always feels more in the relationship than the other. Sometimes the shoe can even switch foots mid relationship etc…

but letting those good feelings of yours, get to that point that it drags you down. Will only cause you to lose more of yourself in life. And it’s not worth it.

they may be terrific and wonderful people. But anyone who can’t give back the same way. Is just not the right ones for “us” even if we can objectively say we found them to be the most perfect thing ever. When they can’t match your energy and your feelings. And you’re the one doing all the giving..

its best to just let it go as best you can. It’s a sad tale but, sometimes sadness is just the way it goes…… I don’t think there any right or correct answer for it all regardless.. you just do the best you can do……

The truth I feel that people don't tell you is that you kind of have to start disrespecting and hating them in your head before you can feel like they are not worth holding onto.

I only can really let go of people once I realize how little they cared about me in the first place

U need to let go of everything not just people. And u can achieve that by practicing meditation. There r some guided meditation videos on YouTube about letting go

Honestly I have no idea. I lost someone before I even knew what death was and didn’t realize he he was dead until I saw his body in the coffin. I was so shocked I couldn’t cry for death for years which also hurt.
