What do women offer to a relationship with a man besides sex?

Women have a list a mile long of expectations because they're independent and are looking to compliment their independence with more. But what do women offer to a man? Men are usually expected to pursue women, court them, propose, be fit and educated, be confident and lead in the relationship, bring a paycheck equal to or greater than the woman, be a provider and protector as well as a lover and sometimes father.

What resources are women expected to offer a man in a relationship other than her body?

Still looking for any insight into this. Most of the responses didn't mention specifics and were saying contribution is mainly sexual. Is that really all modern women offer men?

In a marriage a good wife will take care of her physical and mental wellbeing, be an active participant in supporting the household, be physically and emotionally supportive to her spouse, she will work along side her spouse to help reach mutual goals.
In all honesty every relationship is different, what one person needs from their partner is going to differ from the next. Instead of asking women what they bring to the table in a relationship ask your self what you are looking for in a relationship and seek those traits.

Not nearly as much as they used to. Men were expected to pursue, court and propose to women in the past because back then women were the prize. That is certainly no longer the case. Some women still offer enough value to justify a man taking the risk of marrying them, but most do not.
