How is it possible for former promiscuous girls to still get married?

How did they still manage to get a man to marry them? Even a former hooker (she hasn't worked in that for 10 years by now) others in my area knew still got married. The guy knew her past. One of my friends had a wild past and she already got married last year. The guy also knows it and she's now 2 months pregnant.

If men don't view them as wife material and instead just use them for sex or keep them as a girlfriend without a proposal... how do they still get a man that marries them? Some or many of the guys that marry them know it.

meanwhile my older sister is a good, decent girl. She's only been with her boyfriend (no other man) and he tells her all nice things, that she'll be a great mother to his kids one day, that she's a gem, that she's the best thing that ever happened to him, blah, blah... and they've been living for 5 years and he hasn't proposed yet. There are SOME men who either legitimately don't care, or who convince themselves that they don't even when they really do. Some of those men are desperate to be in a relationship/have a wife and have trouble attracting women, so they'll lower their standards to get a relationship, while others are desperate to have children (more so than a wife), and so they're willing to prioritize that over her past, because they're being pragmatic.

None of that has anything to do with your sister's situation. HER problem is that SHE never set boundaries or expectations of being married with her guy from the start - and probably still hasn't - and the guy, while seemingly a good guy, just isn't in a huge hurry to be married.

From the very small amount of information you've provided, I'd guess that your sister is more traditional vs. feminist, so this really sucks for her, but you need to realize that radical feminism is what destroyed marriage - and that it did so 100% intentionally. Feminist leaders since the 60s have all been hard-core Marxists (which they didn't talk about openly at the time, but have no problem openly admitting today), and they took over the feminist movement not to further the interests of women, but to push Marxism. Feminism was just camouflage for them to wear as they did so, and a way to get women to follow them without questioning anything.

And, sad to say, they were largely successful - they've made marriage SO unattractive to most men - and so dangerous to men - that the majority of men today don't ever plan to marry. It's not that they don't WANT to be married - most men would prefer a life-long relationship/partnership - but radical feminism has made marriage so toxic and such a huge legal and financial risk for men that most men today don't feel marriage is worth the risk.

This means that even men who DO plan to marry often drag their feet and don't really make it a priority. That sucks for everyone and it makes society worse as whole - I believe a traditional marriage is better for everyone - the husband, the wife, the kids, and society as whole, and it especially sucks for women like your sister (if she is more traditional as I suspect), because other women have ruined things - or at least made them much more difficult - for her.

Hookers are probably richer than the guy. Hence he's the gold digger (a sick but true joke!)

And if he's too slow, other male gold diggers will come quickly.

For the virgin, if she's the "common" girl, no worries. She can wait.

Security POV:
Hookers as assumed, stands a lesser chance. Hence marrying her means she'll stay.

Virgins are "prized" especially by religious rich old men. If not careful, she may run away with them (not saying your sister will).

Bedroom consideration:
Hookers sure know what to do. Sex will be fun and exciting.

No ill will, but virgins need weeks to months just to master the basics. And some guys felt it might be "incompatible" and regret.

With promiscuous girls, guys know that they need to step up before she leaves him and gets a new guy. With your sister, the guy doesn't feel the urge since she probably won't leave him

Then what happened in my sister's case? It's written on my update. She was a virgin, has only been with her boyfriend and after 5 years of telling her BS about how she's a gem, praising her so much and promising her the moon and the stars... he won't propose. My sister feels so hurt that he's still saying '' you'll be a great mother to his kids one day''. She's wondering why on earth he won't progress to engagement if she's so great and a gem and everything he told her. Meanwhile those promiscuous girls that she knows of got proposed in a year or less.

I have no idea. There could be many reasons. For one, a ring and weddings are expensive, and he might not have the money. He could also be gay, and like the idea of appearing straight without having to have sex with a woman.

No one if having money issues and my sister doesn't care about the cost of a ring (she'll be happy with even a cheap plastic ring) and doesn't want an expensive wedding. She helps out with bills and likes saving money. I guess she should sadly break up. She has been crying recently.
