Is it rational that I am envious of young married couples?

I am 27 and never had a real girlfriend. I have always wanted to have a wife and family of my own. I don't know if this will ever become a reality.

Meanwhile, most of my peers I have known growing up are married and/or have kids.

My young adult church group mostly consists of married couples. One of my high school best friends is married. There is a guy at work that has Asperger's like me, and he is even married!

I am worried that all the good women are already taken and married. I fear that I will eventually be stuck with divorced women and single moms.

I married my wife when I was 22. I had a great time the, so of course she left me for another man. I was devastated and literally had to re-start life in my 30’s.

The only thing you can do is get in shape date as much as you can. Be open about your goals so you do not waste time with the wrong woman.

It's not a race my friend, but if it was you'd still be okay at 27. Snakeboob is a little umm indelicate, but she has one decent point. Don't discount divorced women or single moms, but if you do I get that because you probably recognize you will have difficulty with that sort of issue. Everybody comes with issues, but you recognize just what issues you are prepared to deal with which is smart. You never know when love comes your way. You don't have control of that. So the best thing you can do is make yourself as marketable as possible and be ready. Success = Situation+Preparedness.

And you looking at pretty coo prospectl, single mom And some one with few divorces behind their backs also have some experience they gained from past mistakes. As oppse to some spoiled brat u might get.
