A guy implied asking me to be his Valentine, saying, "Do you have any plans on Valentines? I don't."

I shot it down by literally answering, "Yeah. I have a date with my midterm that day so I'm blasting Careless Whisper as I weep through my midterm essay."

He replied, "oh i see, too bad."

I didn't take the hint at the time but I also don't want to be his Valentine, so it's okay.

  70% of marriages fail and end in divorce within 5 years in the US. Men get raped in divorces and lose their assets and children to women, who file 98% of divorce petitions.
