Some people prefer monogamy, some are happy in open relationships. There's no universal best.

If uou want a deep connection it's the only one that has hope of working. To much jealousy and feeling of getting the shorter stick if you mix emotions and multiple partners. It is, but there are people who prefer it the other way. I won’t judge anyone who feels that they need more than one partner, as long as they don’t cheat. Open relationship is the best option for those who can’t commit to one person.

The best form of relationships are the ones that people can make work. Although I strongly prefer a monogamous relationship, I am not against a polygamous relationship.
Knowing me, if I were to be involved in a polygamous relationship, it will not be open and I will be married to both women and live in the same house. It's just gonna be exclusivity for me and both wifes/girlfriends.
