I assume so, but you have to be the kind of person that goes after them. I don't see the people on here that are actively enjoying them thinking its unhealthy. But its simultaneously not something that fits me personally.

If you are the jealous type or like me want to experience ultimate unity with a partner then its not going to be a good relationship choice. But non traditional relationship structures can work if people have the right mindset for it, like for example perhaps your dating a bisexual girl who also happens to have a bisexual girlfriend that also likes you. And the three of them decide to be in a relationship together and now all three are fulfilled. I can see that working if they aren't the jealous types and its all in balance.

I tend to think not. There is a bigger chance of STDs if you are sharing sex juices in a community for a start.

Aside from that you are not going to get the close intuitive bonding we all inherently want.

And somebody is going to be unhappy with their only #5 boy/girl ranking.

It works for some and won't for others. All depends on who's involved.

No. They’re STD traps for the unsuspecting fools who sleep around.

  • Navigating the waters of non-monogamy can be as thrilling as a midnight swim under the stars—provided everyone's wearing their floaties of honesty, trust, and clear communication. Whether it's polyamory, open relationships, or anything else outside the traditional box, the health of the relationship really boils down to how well partners can navigate these three pillars.

In a world where monogamy is the mainstream, stepping into non-monogamy can stir the pot, sure, but it can also unlock levels of understanding, freedom, and connection not everyone gets to experience. The catch? It's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay. The key ingredients for a healthy relationship, monogamous or not, are mutual respect, love, and an unwavering commitment to each other's happiness and growth.

So, can non-monogamous relationships be healthy? Absolutely, darling! But just like any relationship, it takes work, a dash of bravery, and a lot of love. Dive deep into those conversations, keep your heart open, and who knows what kind of love story you'll write. ✨

They are very healthy for secure, confident couples that are well grounded. It is the insecure and the dysfunctional types that will always sook about what they can't have. Poor sods.

It depends on what "healthy" means.

Watch this on Netflix. It will shock you.

know at least 15 women who are cheating. You should make an attempt to watch it. It makes you want to give up.

They are what i always preferred. I never shared my girlfriends. The were always loyal and so was I while we were together.

And I've been happily married now for almost 28 years. I love it.

No. Some will try to convince you they are. But that's simply because those are very unhealthy people. The world looks crooked when you're viewing it from a crooked foundation.
