#1 They never follow through on their words, their actions or their "promises" and the pattern becomes a conversation you two have too many times but it goes no where. That gets boring and stressful.

#2 Constantly explaining basic human nature to another human. What is kind and what is not kind. What respect is. That gets boring and exhausting.

#3 Hearing the same answers of I don't know, whatever, nothing, maybe, sure, no idea, can't think of anything, not now, someday. You know that person has a clear yes or no answer but wants to be difficult just to make you unhappy. That gets boring and frustrating.

I don’t get bored of him. I’m dating him for a reason, he’s an interesting person and we always learn something new about each other or know how to spice up the relationship.


If we try new things, the relationship doesn’t get boring. Him as a person isn’t boring, so there’s no chance of me getting bored of him.

If is not the people you get bored with. People are not simple as things. People are endlessly interesting but why?

Because they can change. Change is the solution to boredom. Not any change but specifically growth.

When you and your partner are growing toward a joint vision... You will never get bored of them. If you do the same shit everyday then you can get bored but it isn't due to your partner. It is because you two have a boring life. You can be rich and famous and have a boring life. No change = boring

True. That's why I believe every serious couple should create a written out, joint, agreed upon vision so they can know what each other wants in the relationship. But in my experience boredom comes from lack of growing or being stimulated. I say that from experience not my intellect. if you are talking about serious relationship then you don't need 3 reasons, just 1: dating for the wrong reasons.

a serious relationship should be about being good friends first, which is the basic chimestry, then have attraction. if the chimestry is only built upon attraction, then after a while you "get your fill" and the basis for the relationship evaporates.
