If a guy is seeing someone still he gave virtual sex with his girl bestfriend, will that be considered cheating?

I am in kinda relationship, lately things have fallen out of path and grew close to my bestfriend physically and little emotionally. One day we had virtual sex on a video call. I thinks that shouldn't have happened and I cut ties with friend for time being but currently don't think will tell my girlfriend currently but will do eventually.
I want your views, is that cheating on my girl?

Of course it is cheating. Emotional cheating is just as bad as physical cheating with the only exception that STD/STI cannot be transmitted.

Other than that, you are a cheater just the same. And once a cheater, always a cheater. That does not change.

Virtual sex, even though there is no physical presence, is nevertheless just as bad because your mind is dictating your behavior. You know it is wrong; you know it is wrong yet you don't seem to care and cheat just the same.

This is a toxic behavior and if you had just an iota of dignity in yourself, you would split with your girlfriend. She definitely deserves someone better and that she can trust.

It is most definitely cheating. I don't believe coming clean will have a positive ending. She will never trust you. I believe the person you need to come clean with is yourself. Why did you do what you did? Either you don't love your girl or there's something lacking in the relationship, or you're a cheater. Fix the reason so it doesn't happen again if you want to stay with your girl. If she means something to you and you want it to work, fix the reason why it happened, forgive yourself, and work hard to fix your relationship.

You are a cheater. If you were really in a relationship you wouldn't even think about virtual sex with someone else especially with a best friend. I wouldn't trust being around someone with your actions it's too volatile

Yes this constitutes to cheating. Cheating is cheating whether emotional, virtual or physical... You said you "grew close physically to your best friend". Which could mean many things too.
