A girl I was wanting to marry is marrying someone else on April 22. I am having a really hard time coping with it.

She never had a male friend before she met me. She never had a boyfriend, first love, first kiss, and was still a virgin. I thought I found the one at one point. We carried an online thing for several months until I met her for the first time in person, and she discovered I wasn't her type. She ended up meeting some other guy shortly after who she fell in love with and they are getting married in like 2 weeks.

Meanwhile, I am still single with hardly any friends and live on my own.

I wonder if I will ever find a other girl like her, one without a romantic past.

I’m sure you’ll feel better on the 23rd of April, you’re just dreading the 22nd but in reality nothing much in your life is gonna change. It’s probably been years since the last time you talked to her so maybe it’s time to move on and find someone new. It’s great that you live on your own that means you have your independence still.
